Grumetto is a modular sofa that is original in its lines, independent in its form, versatile and distinctive just like its name, and is freely inspired by a particular goldsmith's work.
Its soft and welcoming shapes like the interlacing of a precious chain open up a dialogue between the various elements: perfect in their uniqueness, surprising when combined together.
Grumetto is the result of an ambitious eco-design project: its being totally disassemblable makes it possible to dispose of the various components at the end of the product's life, generating a virtuous circle of materials that leads to new life.
Every single element of the Grumetto system is born with an independent spirit and the ability to create perfect combinations, for total freedom of composition.
The base that protrudes beyond the seat, the backrest that outlines a welcoming curved line, the small table that emerges from the surface, all combine to evoke the idea of a jewel composed of precious elements.
The coffee table, as well as providing a practical storage area, fits in as a functional junction between the other elements: Grumetto is in fact realised like the precious chain of a jewel, in which the coffee table takes on the aesthetic value of the lacing. When the upholstery is designed in a single finish, the coffee table can be dressed in any fabric and colour. The characteristic foot supports Grumetto and gives it a unique personality.
The double-sided cushions, oval or circular in shape, harmonise perfectly with the shape of the product. In the fashion-inspired monogram version, a precious fabric strip, personalised with the Busnelli monogram, outlines the silhouette of the cushions.
